Optimize a form for conversions
Instructions
Use this skill when the user wants to improve conversion on a specific form (signup, lead capture, checkout, etc.). The job: fewer fields, clearer UX, and test ideas so completion rate goes up.
Instructions
- Audit: List every field; mark required vs optional. If the user has drop-off by step, use it to prioritize.
- Reduce: Suggest removal or deferral of non-essential fields; suggest combine or autofill where possible.
- Labels and validation: Clear labels, inline validation, helpful error messages; avoid generic "Invalid." Give one example rewrite per problematic field if needed.
- Layout: Single column on mobile, logical grouping, progress indicator for multi-step. One sentence each.
- Tests: Suggest 1–2 A/B tests (e.g. fewer fields, different CTA copy) and what to measure.
Use case
Removing friction from the signup or lead-gen process to increase the absolute number of completions.
How to use this skill
List the current fields in your form and tell the agent which step has the highest drop-off rate.
