Map a marketing workflow

Instructions

Use this skill when the user wants to map a workflow (nurture, onboarding, or trigger-based). The job: trigger, steps in order, branches, success metric, and exit so it can be built in an automation tool.

Instructions

  1. Trigger: Define entry (form submit, signup, purchase, date, attribute change).
  2. Steps: List each step in order — wait, condition, action (email, task, update field). Note branches (e.g. if opened, if not).
  3. Goals: Define success metric (e.g. email opened, link clicked) and exit conditions (convert, max sends, suppress).
  4. Output: Describe flow in text or a simple diagram (trigger → step 1 → step 2 → branch). Note who owns it and where it will live (platform, link).

Use case

Visualizing complex automated processes before building them in a tool like Hubspot or Zapier.

How to use this skill

Define the start (trigger) and the end (goal) of your marketing journey.
